Versatile Coil Nailer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a quality siding nailer that could handle the correct sized fasteners for installing LP Smartside trim, soffit, and siding and this nailer was one of the few that fit the bill. While I have had extensive experience with other brands of pneumatic nailers, this was my first Metabo purchase and I have been extremely pleased with it. The NV75AN is powerful yet fairly compact and easily maneuverable even when fully loaded. The depth setting adjustment is fantastic. I appreciate that it has detents/positive stops rather than spinning from one extreme to the other. This provides good feedback when needing to make minor adjustments on the fly (e.g., one click forward, one click back). It has reliably shot hundreds of wire-welded nails without a single jam or hiccup.
Because of the NV75AN’s versatile fastener capacity, I plan to also use this nailer for sheathing, which means one very capable tool for two jobs. The onboard nose piece storage is convenient - no looking for where you left it! The triggers swap out easily enough, but I would prefer a selector switch for swapping modes. My only real complaint is that it does not come with an integrated tool hook, but aftermarket options do exist. Again, I have been extremely pleased with this tool and will certainly be looking at what Metabo has to offer for my next tool needs.

Excellent product
It's a Hitachi, so my expectations were high to begin with and it hasn't disappointed me yet. The range of nails it shoots make it versitile enough to make up for the bulk of this nail gun.

This gun has a lot of delivery power. It is very versatile because of the large selection of nails available. Easy depth adjustment.
I bought this gun because I already owned its older brother and that gun worked extremely well for many years. This particular model can be used for framing up to 10d or it can be used for cedar siding with a thinner nail with a smaller head. I don't have a lot of room for tool storage so I bought this gun for multi-purposes.

Very good nailer
Great nailer, but very difficult to find nails in the shorter range that this gun will fire.
