That's the least of my worries. Super easy to install (you need two people to lift into position). Up and running in no time since my last (GE) microwave went kaput!. Comes in recirculation vent mode which is what i needed since i don't have an external vent. Works great. Relatively easy to clean. Have yet to use the re-crisper cause i need to get some microwave safe plates first. Vent fan is a little loud but that's probably because of my vent situation. Overall, a great product in sure will last a long time.

I called Maytag and the person answering the phone was not knowledgeable at all, agreed it seems like it was way too long and suggested using the manual dual crisp. Lucky for me, my husband decided to try it as programmed, and the pizza did come out great! I am disappointed that the oven doesn’t come with the browning tray, and I was told I can’t purchase one as an accessory. Trying to brown the cheese on a sandwich when it is so far away from the browning unit takes forever.

This unit has many great features and the crisper really does crisp and brown nicely although it takes longer than a broiler in a regular oven. I got rid of my countertop toaster oven because this can do the same thing. The only negative here is that the microwave isn’t as powerful as some. It’s slower to microwave than my last one. The fan on high is extremely noisy so I just use medium or low. The fan is located underneath but toward the back so if you’re cooking on the front burners the fan really can’t keep up with a lot of moisture. It has a really nice appearance.

Even with the dual crisp seems slower than my prior microwave. The dual crisp seems to do something, but not as much as I expected. I like that the bottom light placement is in the middle rather than at the back like my prior Whirlpool. The light is Extremely HOT when left on for any length of time. Nice strong fan works great; I have it configured to vent externally. The door latches seem flimsy like the prior Whirlpool's latch sensors which failed, so I replaced the whole microwave with this new one due to the cost of the sensors.

This is a nice looking microwave and the price was right but it seems to take so much longer than either of our past two microwaves. The crisping feature does not work as well as our broiler in the oven so we tend not to bother with it. After it was installed, we noticed a gap between the door and the body of the microwave which concerned us so called Maytag and to their credit they sent out an authorized technician who performed a “paper test” which showed the machine was safe. If we had been more aware we probably would not have bought this model in the first place.

Although I am still experimenting with the dual crisp function, I have never had a microwave with as accurate defrost, melt, reheat, and other settings. Sensor seems more accurate than any other past microwave. The door and overall noise is much quieter than past microwaves and others I compared to. I have been using it for a month or more now and love it. Only minor issue I had so far was having to replace a burnt out hood/range light bulb.

Great addition to the kitchen, excited to buy more appliances to replace the older ones. Microwave works great, has a lot of options and easy to figure out. I like that there is an option for the clock to turn off. Between the microwave, oven and coffee maker, we have 3 clocks in one area, it's nice to have at least 1 clock not showing.
