The size is perfect its not to big for it to be obnoxious nor too small for it to be delicate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SW1 Dennis from Low security rating I purchased a 1500D dial lock for securing a storage unit. On the package it says it is a hardened steel shackle that is cut resistant. However on the front of the package it gives a security rating of 3 out of 10. That should have been a red flag right away! We received a phone call from the storage facility telling us that the padlock was cut off. Luckily nothing was taken. I will continue to purchase Masterlock products however not this inferior lock. Save your money and do not purchase this lock!
