Description

UltraCare High-Gloss Sealer & Finish is a one-step, water-based formula that provides a durable high-gloss finish and maxumum stain resistance. This product can also be used as a pre-grouting sealer. For interior use only. UltraCare High-Gloss Sealer & Finish is non-yellowing and resistant to ultraviolet light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Roseanne123456 from Do not buy! This should be pulled from shelves. I've spent 2 days applying it not being able to use my bathroom. Followed directions to T and one shower later it's peeling off. It's water based and comes off with water just what you don't need in a shower. anywhere with tile is going to be wet. This is 3 days after applying now I've gotta take this all off and start over. Not impressed 20 $ wasted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fubared from Worst product EVER Followed the direction and it ruined the polished finish of my backsplash tile. I went from having a nicely polished finish (but unsealed) and then applied this Mapei High Gloss sealer. The result is a hazy finish full of streaks. The streaks cannot be buffed out. I ended up having to take a scrapper and scrap this garbage off the tile. They couldn't pay me to try this again... I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, maybe an enemy. No, not even an enemy, that would be too cruel...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Libylaw from Will not work as intended I've used this in 3 different tiles. On a very gritty low shine it worked nice and left a very good gloss however it's still new and numerous people are complaining about peeling after light use. The mid shine tile it didn't do very well and left clumps of white residue throughout that would not leave. The worst is a shinier tiny. It bubbled and left huge hazes and a sticky mess everywhere. I'm currently trying to find a product to remove all the clumps on the one tile and get rid of the residue left on the shinier tiles. DO NOT trust the sealant remover by this company either. 3 hours of scrubbing and reapplying and nothing is working to remove this garbage product and the residue left behind is horrendous. Would not wish this on anyone.
