One of my favourite tools!
This jigsaw has cut out a lot of projects for me, including a plywood sailboat. Once I used this Makita 18V jigsaw, the other expensive corded jigsaw in my tool box was given to my son. On the Makita, its variable speed gives good control, the machine cuts precisely, blades are super easy to change, the light helps a lot and the feel of the tool makes it fun to use. I am a guy who likes curves. The tool is also good for trimming and cutting lumber as well as plywood, cutting mortises and tenons. Fits Bosch blades.

Makita LXT 18-Volt Top-Handle Cordless Jigsaw
Have been a Makita fan for years, all my cordless tools are Makita and so far this jigsaw has not disappointed. The jigsaw performs and works very well. Balance is not bad, weight also not bad and the tool does everything I need it to, love it.
