High output cast iron pump delivers maximum performance and operational life. "Big Bore" cylinder and piston feature high output at lower RPM with reduced heat build-up, less noise and longer operational life. Low amperage draw reduces incidents of tripped breakers and voltage drops that cause premature motor failure. Easy view oil gauge and large pressure gauges for quick identification. Air pressure regulator enables easy adjustment of line pressure. Features 2 quick connect air hose fittings. Finned discharge tube promotes safe and efficient cooling. Stores 50' of 3/8" air hose with handle folded or upright. 1-Year warranty.

2.22/.746 = 2.98
i.e. it looks like they applied the factor twice. ... or they may have also reported peak power.

Great Compressor, very reliable.
Can run 2 air nailers at the same time and it keep up. Had mine for 7 years and still works like new. Never had a problem, just leave the bleeder open when off.

Tough compressor
Used two of these framing a 5 story hotel. 4 nailers running constantly with up to 100' of air line, 10 hours a day no problem. A little hard on them when freezing temperatures came along but they kept on going and going.
