Installing the maxx utile shower, can I install extra shelves and a seat ?
Dear Hirschfeld..the Utike kit already includes one glass shelf but you can purchase others if you want to separately..you can install a seat but if the seat is being installed/screwed to the wall you must have some backing reinforcements behind the wall where the seat will be screwed to support it..Thank You!

Does it matter whether my tub is right or left hand drain?

Image misleading
Purchased a few months ago for an install next month. Was surprised to see that the product sent to us has a dark grey "grout" rather than white, as the picture shows. I'm worried it will make our bathroom look darker. The grey has a more purple undertone than the photo lets off as well. As it's a special order item, you can't really see it in person before ordering, so I wish Lowes would post an accurate photo of this product. Will update review if anything comes up with install.

Love the look
Easy to install, although the contractor suggests that the manufacturer includes a clip or something to secure the bottom of the middle panel - worried about the flex on such a large panel. Haven't used it yet, bathroom reno not finished but love the look and colour of this wall surround.

Easy and Beautiful
I'm not used to dealing with things that are both easy and beautiful but the MAAX Utile system has completely changed that perspective. We were able to install these with a medium amount of effort in about 4 hours time. Did I mention it looks great! My dad also thinks it looks great. I would recommend this to anybody.
