This Maax Olympia shower base is suitable for corner and alcove installations, and is a great option for any shower renovation project. Made of a high-quality reinforced acrylic, this sturdy shower base is built to last. It has a textured surface with a left ABS square drain and a stainless-steel grid. This 60-inch rectangular shower base has a 2 5/8-inch threshold base, along with three tiling flanges.

Issue with squeeking
As soon as I did a dry fitting and put my weight on it, i heard the squeaking. floor is perfectly level. I removed the product and realized that the Styrofoam filling is not fully adhered to the acrylic and so produces a squeaking noise when there is pressure on the product. If it wasn't for this, I would rate the product 5 stars but unfortunately, squeaking makes this product unusable without some mcgyver home remedy.

Complete Garbage...stay away
This base is garbage, the bottom of it is made from a styrofoam which causes a great deal of flexing and squeaking.
This is after I had everything leveled and my mortar bed in place.
Save yourself the hassle and go with a different brand like OVE.

Terrible Shower Base
As other people have stated it squeaks like crazy. I installed it as I need a 32” wide instead of the normal 36” wide I use on projects and now the customers want me to remove all the shower doors and tile above it and rip it out and install a better shower base! Spend more money and buy a more solid base! The foam on the bottom does nothing apparently and it seems to be missing voids etc.

Looked good and solid
Doing a reno and bought this item because it was the right size for the job and it seems sturdy. Installation went well. Not too squeaky like some other reviews but I dropped a slippery plastic bottle of shampoo about 2.5 feet onto the edge of this base. I was surprised and disappointed that the bottle put a small divot and crack in the base. I was not about to rip everything out so I patched it as best as I could. My previous shower stall was 30 years old - dropped many bottles of shampoo and bars of soap over those years, and not one 'injury' to the shower.

Slippery!
Shower base unit is very slippery. Needs something to prevent falls!
