This Maax Olympia shower base is suitable for alcove and corner installations and is a great choice for any shower renovation project. Made of high-quality reinforced acrylic, this shower base is sturdy, durable and easy to clean. The 48 in. rectangular shower base has a 2 5/8 in. threshold base, along with three tiling flanges.
- White acrylic rectangular base includes drain and square stainless steel grid in chrome
- 3 inch low threshold base that can be installed in an alcove or corner

I'm confused on the measurements as the product lists length and width but I need to confirm depth. These measurements seem to be switched according to other sites/retailers so want to confirm the measurements from the back wall to the shower opening.

Is the drain suitable for a basement concrete floor installation?
I installed this shower floor pan in a basement concrete floor . You have to be careful with measuring correctly so that the shower pan drain pipe lines up correctly with the sewer drain in the basement floor. Also had to get an ABS adaptor coupling so that the pan drain fits into the floor sewer piping. Other than that , it worked pretty well.

Do not buy under any circustance
The product will crack (lots of reviews online). All they will do is send you another one. Why would i put the same defective part back in. We are now going to be out of pocket the expense of tearing out the Maax Walls and shower base and starting over. Drywall will be destroyed, flooring will be destroyed. It asks if i would recommend this product to a friend. I would not recommend it to an enemy.

Difficile a travailler
Le produit est trop leger. Il bouge sur le moindre geste ce qui le rend tres difficile a monter. Je sais pas si je peux la retourner pour en prendre une plus solide ? Car cella me donne un paquet de trouble a moi ainsi qu'au plombier

Garbage product
This is a low quality base. Styrofoam covered with plastic.
Let hope it doesn't squeak like crazy once its glued down. DO NOT BUY THIS, much better bases out there

The product is thin plastic over styrofoam. The base broke before we got the whole shower installed. Very unsatisfied with the purchase.
