There is overflow and drain plug. Drain not included. Quite difficult to install. Now that it is installed, its a beautiful tub.

Can I drill into the side of the tub for water lines or do I need to break up my basement concrete floor to put water lines? Contractor wants to know.
I broke up my floor because I’m a perfectionist, and wanted it to look tidy, but you can certainly drill holes for supply lines or cut into the fibreglass. The tub is two pieces and the part that holds the water is the inside piece. The other part is the skirt which you would be cutting into. Easy install either way.

What does a two piece bathtub mean? Where is the seam?
The bottom is one piece which sits on the ground and goes up to the "rim", the second piece drops into the bottom piece and has a "lip" around the top which sits on the bottom oval. The "top" piece is what holds the water, where you install the taps & supply lines and the drain. The bottom piece is not much more than a base. The "seam" you're asking about is hidden under the "lip" around the oval top. Hope that helps, it's hard to describe if you haven't seen one lol

what over flo is usedwith delsia tub by maxx
We just used a standard waste and overflow and regular drain pipe. I recommend running your abs drain line opposite of what the directions for the tub say so it drains faster and it makes it easier to run it through the floor aswell. I recommend this tub it was a reasonable price and is very structurally sound and easy to install. I also recommend putting a bead of Pl premium on the bottom flange prior to securing it to the floor. I have infloor heat so I only used Pl to secure it and put heavy items on the flange overnight to help it bond. I hope that helps, take care.

Can two people fit in tub?
Haven’t installed it yet but my wife and I sat in it and can’t wait to try it with water and champagne haha!!

A real soaker tub
Bought it 8mths ago, still working like a charm. My tub sits on a concrete floor, and my ABS drain wasn't in the right position, so I had to engineer a solution without breaking up floor.
The insert edge had minor chip and crack, but Maax sent someone over right away to fix it.
Love the tub (best tub I've ever had). Suggest grab rail for easy entry and exit. I can totally submerge in tub with knees bent. Tub is easy to clean.
The tapset is Grohe...recommend that!

Beware
We have this tub. It's beautiful. It came with dozens of tiny cracks in the finish. Took Maax one year to send someone out. The tech they sent deemed manufacturers defect and recommended warranty replacement. Unfortunately Maax claims there in-house tech having never seen the tub, is claiming its a shipping issue. No warranty.
So many other options for a beautiful free standing tub. I would recommend avoiding this sub standard, extremely poorly manufactured tub. So many other better options.

Check actual dimensions
Looks like a good deep tub BUT the dimensions quoted on line are not exact. Ends of the tub are 28" not 26.5" which made a big difference as it would not fit through the door. Box dimensions are also incorrect but will fit in a minivan.

Nice comfortable tub
Ordered tub from lowes web site for store pick up. It arived as promised. I drove 2.5 hours to pick it up and 2.5 hrs home. When i opened the box i found a large chip and a crack in the lip around the tub. I called Maax. No problem we will send someone to fix it you wont be able to tell that there was a problem. So i installed it. Installation went well. I was surprised and disapointed that the bottom edge of the top lip is not finished. When you grab the lip to get out of the tub this lip is rough and a little sharp. I used silicon to glue down the feet and the skirt as i found the tub wanted to tip over. I also insulated between the tub and skirt to help it hold heat... worked well, a hour long bath the water only drops by 3 degrees.
The repair guy arived 4 days after the call to maax. He filled the chip with fiberglas resin and spray painted it. The repair is noticeable. You can feel the roughness of the srpay and can see a difference in the finish. Repair guy explained that he sometimes goes back 3 or 4 times because people complain about the repairs but there is nothing he can do to make it look like the factory does.
Very disapointed in the repair. I would recommend returning a damaged tub rather than letting them fix it. If i did not have to drive 5 hours and wait a week for a new tub that is what i would do.

2 returns , 1st scratched inside and bottom of skirt badly damaged. 2nd same problem with skirting all due to packaging and transport

For the price it's a fabulous tub
I bought this on sale and I knew it would require a professional plumber to install. He had no problem installing the tub. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I am completely submerged when full. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it did have several chips but honestly I bought a can of tub paint and used a small brush and you literally can not even tell. I would buy this tub again in a second. Light weight too and easy to lift and move.
