Rated 3 out of 5 by Prof from Zero install instructions or support bought this a few weeks ago and installed it into a reno. Beware there are no instructions from MAXX for this specific unit. you will have to read instructions for other models and gather the bits from each that work and apply those to your install. No instructional video on their website or youtube channel either. OK quality although the resin is super thin in spots (if you shine a flashlight on the inside side you can illuminate the wall behind it.) Does not meet expectations with regards to instructions and support. If your fairly handy you should be able to make it work, if you know what your doing. Lack of instructions provided by MAXX both with the unit when purchased (none in the box) and online after is beyond disappointing, who sells a product without instructions...MAXX does

Rated 4 out of 5 by Did it all by myself! from Great value, few install challenges for the DIY's I bought this unit to upgrade existing 45 year old washroom. Fit just right into the 60x 32 rough opening of the existing frame out after old tub and wall finish removals. Quality of the unit in its construction was great. The assembly in a tight washroom was a challenge. Unit didn't fit through door opening. Had to lift up and in through window of backsplit elevation. Once inside it had to be fully assembled before inserting into the space due to the bolting requirements. Unit Cannot be assembled in tub location. Make sure you have enough space in the floor area of the washroom for the assembly. Once fully assembled it inserted into the space with a bit of a challenge to get it over the plumbing rough-ins. The base of the tub is fairly low and to transition plumbing to an existing rough-in is very challenging as there is not much forgiveness in elevation to match to existing plumbing fittings. This needs a trades persons insight and knowledge to go smoothly. For the cost and quality of the unit it is a great unit if you have skill to do the installations. for the average DIY this unit will be frustrating and have its issues in the retrofit state.
