Hello. I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier King cab with a 6 ft bed and track tie-down system. Can this rack be installed on my truck without first removing the track system in the bed? Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jake from Good product for a modest price Others have had trouble installing this but I found it quite easy. I installed this in the Lowe's parking lot in under an hour with the tools provided without any assistance. With a second set of hands and some power tools I could have gotten close to half an hour. So far I have only hauled lumber and kayaks and it performs well. 20 foot 2x10s and 2x6s didn't come close to maxing out the rated weight. It does whistle a little but barely noticeable with the radio on even with low volume.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jeff from good deal I found this on the shelf at Lowe’s in Madison Alabama and mounted it on the truck in about 30 minutes Is very similar to the one I had before so I had an idea of how it went on I really wish it came with other accessories but not that big of a deal I ordered them today

Rated 4 out of 5 by Johntonic from Jury is still out Parts went together nicely but screws were very hard to turn with the supplied hex wrenches. The fit was poor at the bed rails and tightening down the clamps distorted the rails. Now that it's installed, it seems solid and strong. I intend to use just one rack on the bed with one Yakima bar on the cab in order to carry kayaks. The Better Built rack is too tall to match the cab bar so I may have it cut down and new threads cut for the uprights. It is yet to be seen how well kayak accessories will attach to this crossbar.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mrb from Expected better quality for the money This unit looks great and is sturdy but thats about it. Everything already written in these reviews is true. I wish i would have read and taken them to heart before purchase. Not real easy to assemble. The thread tolerances are lacking. Racks and accessories are overpriced. Be sure to get all the accessories you are wanting before starting the assembly process or you will have to redo it. Cleats MUST be installed before assembly. The finish on mine only lasted 2 weeks before flaking off badly where my aluminum ladder rubbed. Luckily its on the top of the rail or i would have taken em back. I remove and remount the racks periodically on my truck which is surprisingly fast, (5 min.). Only problem ive dealt with is the grade of the mounting bolts. 1 has stripped out so far. Fits well on 2012 Ram 1500 shortbox.

It's easy to install and remove from the bed (we only use it when we go to the lake, tonneau cover the rest of the time). Instructions were easy to follow. Very sturdy and secure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jomoki from Great rack but poorly packaged This is an excellent rack for my purposes, it is sturdily constructed of quality materials. Assembly was simple and straightforward following the instructions and being aware the final orientation on the truck. I would highly recommend using socket drive hex bits(7/32" and 5/16") unless you enjoy tediously twisting the supplied allen wrenches. It is easy to install and remove from the truck bed and adjust to fit beds of different widths. The reason for not giving five stars is that the accessory side tie down brackets are not included as parts of the rack as the need to be inserted as the first step assembling the units and that you have to buy two sets, one for each pair of uprights.
