Rated 5 out of 5 by Tuhottie from Best little welder [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been welding for 24 years and I've used all kinds of machines. I currently weld with a vantage 300 at work, but I got one of these for my shop and I am very impressed, it welds smooth, it burns 1/8" 7018 as nice as my vantage. But it don't long arc AT ALL. So just run it a little hot and it's awesome. I run 5/32" 7018 it run that rod but I wouldn't push it, 6010 1/8", 1/8" Excalibur, 308,309 stainless rods run fine for me but again I do it all day everyday.
