Was replaced under warranty. 1 year and 3 months later, compressor let go. Received a new fridge. 5 years later, huge puddle of water on the floor. Fridge not cooling. Repair man will do a first service call in 8 days then let me know if it is under warranty. No fridge until then. While it was "working properly" it was very noisy and 2 door shelves broke. Not like I'm taking the fridge on a crazy off road joy ride here!!! Regular use. If it's not under warranty I will gladly buy another brand of fridge. My food went to waist 3 times and of course this happens after grocery shopping for the whole family. On the positive, customer service agent was friendly each time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JerTig from Terrible shelf design I bought this a couple years ago and twice now the bottom of the door shelves have spontaneously cracked when I open the door and dumped their contents on the floor and the rest of the fridge. I spent 20 minutes cleaning up a smashed salad dressing tonight. When everything fell off tonight it also smashed the cover of the drink drawer at the bottom. So I now have no shelf, no cover to my drawer, and no salad dressing. Very disappointing, would not recommend. The water also comes out very slowly and there isn't much cold stored up so you get lukewarm water when you fill a bigger container.

Have to use the backup fridge in the garage for now. I will let you know how this turns out. So far not impressed with LG

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snailspace111 from Mostly good, with some caveats… We only had 30 inches but wanted a water dispenser and ice maker, meaning it’s literally this one or the Whirlpool one ( GE has one but hey pandemic so backordered til may 2022 at least) So we went with the LG, and so far not disappointed. Relatively good shelf layout even if as others have commented the config options are limited Cavernous bottom freezer Great lighting Very quick cooling - like, astonishing how quick this will chill stuff., Now a few caveats: the doors are heavy and the closure is, well, a bit clunky ( there’s a reason there’s a door open alarm: you will think you closed it… but no, you didn’t) The right crisper drawer can only be opened w both doors opened. The left one can be opened with just the left door opened. The icemaker is noisy AF on an empty ice tray (drops 6 inches ) But overall it looks good, it cools fantastically well, it has a decent warranty, and it offers extensive features in 30 inches. Cautiously recommended
