Description

This LG dishwasher uses the QuadWash system with wash arms that move from front to back while spinning. Powerful jets clean dishes from every angle to provide impeccable results. This appliance has a NeveRust stainless steel tub and can contain up to 15 place settings. Furthermore, the EasyRack Plus system lets you adjust racks to fit dishes of all shapes and sizes while ensuring optimal clean. This dishwasher offers a choice of 9 wash cycles and works quietly. In addition, the motor is backed with a 10-year limited warranty.

How high is this dishwasher

If you look at the specs that Lowes provides on-line it will tell you.It does fit under the counter of most cabinet units built in the last 40 years. I bought this one because the people who had the place before didn't rip out the old floor when they remodelled. I needed a unit that could fit a shorter space. This works great. I installed this at my daughter's, it works great and is quieter than my Bosch.

Why does it register 300 min. to complete an AUTO cycle for a regular pre-rinsed load ? This seems excessive to me.

Hello, we just bought this dishwasher a month ago, today it started making the ring tones throughout the cycle, then when we wanted to start it again the machine turned off and now won’t turn on. We have tried turning off the breaker but no luck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ALes from Very roomy. Long cycle time. This dishwasher has so much room! It can fit a cookie sheet in the bottom with a tall blender cup in the top. It did take a bit of time to properly install and level, and the directions didn't clearly explain a few important details such as feeding the water line through the slot on the bottom of the dishwasher, but if you have any "do-it-yourself" skills it's not too hard to figure out. The digital buttons take some getting used to and I wish it ran a normal cycle in under 2 hours...why does it take so long to clean dishes? But it looks amazing, cleans well, is much quieter than the old one it replaced, and can fit so many dishes that I have to do them less! Win!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Samsungman from Great dishwasher. Of course, every product manufactured by any company can be a lemon. We had this dishwasher for 3 months without any serious problems. After we tossed our old GE dishwasher for 7 to 10 years use, the LG dishwasher was a massive improvement from the previous GE dishwasher. We are extremely satisfied how well it cleans our dishes. In general, when a dishwasher does not break down in 3 months, it is a guarantee to last for 3 to 5 years into the future. Also, in general, a Korean made product is as good as a Japanese made product with the exception of a lower price. Korean technology is probably the best in the world. I believe this dishwasher is manufactured in South Korea.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Louise2 from DOESN'T DRY DISHES Washes good but even on the "extra dry" cycle the dishes and inside of the dishwasher are wet. I did try opening the door so that they can air dry but then there are spots on the cutlery where the water was sitting on them before they dried - I should not have to do this though, it should dry the dishes. Rinse Aid is being used and is set to 4 (highest setting). Other complaint is that the sticker on the top right is supposed to be permanent, who wants that on the front of their dishwasher - found this out after I bought it or I would of chosen a different one. Washes good and like the racks but the not drying thing is a huge issue.

We opted for the front controls thinking they are more practical and easier than opening the door to make adjustments to the cycles. We love the controls, the delay start, and other options. It's very quiet, but has a countdown display so you can tell how long until cycle is complete...and as an indicator that dishwasher is actually running. It cleans well with no issues...much better than our previous 10 year old dishwasher. It's stainless inside and out, decent quality...although the door and latch seem a little 'cheap', but it's holding up well so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lethabee from Extremely quiet, roomy dishwasher The stainless steel tub makes this dishwasher extremely quiet - we have a very open floorplan and can not hear the dishwasher running; it's almost imperceptible even when standing next to it. Lots of space in this dishwasher for many plates and large items, great for when family or friends are visiting. The drop-down top rack is also a nice feature, which makes room for taller items in the top rack. With only two people in our household on a daily basis, it sometimes takes a few days for a full load to accumulate. The drop-down top rack is ideal for use with the "upper only" setting. The silverware basket is divided into three parts so you can use one (or more) sections in the upper rack on this setting.

I am still waiting on LG to send the needed part to the maintenance technician they contracted out. It has been nearly 2 months without a dishwasher. LG sent the part in early December and it "got lost in the mail". After spending 45 minutes on the phone with their customer service they finally told me they were sending the part again and it would take another 5-7 days for it to come in. It supposedly will be January 10th when it can get fixed. Absolute worst customer service I've ever had. Thanks a lot LG!

A few helpful hints on installation (just in case you do not do this every day, as I do not). a) The dishwasher does not ship with a fitting to attach it to a standard water hose (3/8" L shaped). You have to purchase one. Why LG don't give you a $2 part with the machine I will never know, nor why Lowes did not mention it... b) Both sets of feet, front and rear are adjustable from the front (took me a minute to work this out. c) The drain hose clip on the left hand (about halfway up on the machine) side can be caught up easily when pusing in/out to install. Care is needed. Other than that, great purchase so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RT from Not reliable Bought this dishwasher on Jan 2, 2018. Within a month it seemed to quit drying dishes thoroughly. A month or so later it was definite it was not drying the dishes at all. Tried to get service and kept being put off. First repair center did not order parts. Then wrong parts were ordered. When finally repaired in June it worked fine for about 3 weeks. We were told if the problem persisted the dishwasher would be replaced but now we are told LG will have to fix it and it will not be replaced. I strongly recommend purchasing a different product as this unit is completely unreliable.
