Description

LePage No More Nails All-Purpose construction adhesive is a premium quality, latex-based adhesive for interior construction and multi-purpose use. It is formulated to provide high strength and water resistant bonds. It greatly reduces the need for nails and screws in many applications. No More Nails fills minor gaps on uneven surfaces, dries clear and is paintable. The unique pressure pack dispenser is convenient and easy to use by eliminating the need for a caulking gun. I am hanging bifold doors and the opening doesn't have mouldings just the drywall.  Can I glue the bracket to the top opening without using screws.  The screws cannot latch onto anything inside of the frame.

Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, the bracket will be under stress from the doors and adhesives such as LePage No More Nails will not be a sufficient means of attachment under these circumstances. Keep in mind the adhesive will only be as good as the paper is bonded to the gypsum. You should consider using drywall anchors if nothing is behind the drywall.

Can this be used on polystyrene ceiling tiles?

Thank you for the question. The LePage No More Nails Construction Adhesive is a latex, water-based product and requires one bonding surface to be porous. Since the ceiling tile itself is non-porous the success will depend upon what the composition is of the other bonding surface. If it is painted or sealed the adhesive will not bond.

Rated 1 out of 5 by neil.59 from waste of money I purchased this to redo the roof of my camping trailer, I'm sure the glue itself probably works great but the no caulking gun part is a terrible design. The glue had seeped out before I purchased it and sealed the hole so that I could never use any of it. Label says it is convenient but it wasn't very convenient when it doesn't work.

I was trying to glue some corkboard on the inside of a reptile enclosure that measures 36"x18"x36". I was able to glue two panels ( 18"x 24") before I ran out of product. Definitely not worth the price of the can and I waited 2 days for it just so I could finish half my project. Massive disappointment!
