A must have
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use mine just about every day on the job. My favorite reasons are: (1) easy to change out blades; no screwdriver necessary, a great feature. (2) razor storage. Need a new blade, not a problem; just slide the latch forward, remove a blade from its storage clip and close. The blade slides in easier with a slide of the thumb. Again no additional tools needed to perform what should be an already simple job. Why wasn’t this creased sooner? (3) smooth case. Slides in and out of pockets and tool bags without catching. Can slice through soft materials like insulation without snagging the material. (4) feels good to hold. Not bulky but not small. Comfortable.

Knife to remove caulking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked very well cutting out 15 year old caulking from shower. To get the hardest stuck on caulking, sprayed with Lowe’s caulking remover, think was called GooGoo Gone or something like that, in the same isle as the caulking and scraped off much easier then using both this utility knife and a paint scraper with a thin blade for smaller areas. 4 stars as worked really well with some help. Also once figured out to set blade in 2nd spot when assembling so the blade came out farther like a 1/2” than if set in last position with only 1/4” out.

Best Utility Knife I've Used
This is hands down the best utility knife I've used for work. As a professional painter and finisher, I use a utility knife ever day for various tasks. This Lenox knife is super comfortable in your hand, and the finish is excellent. The metal body and lack of any plastic parts actually makes it feel very natural in your hand, and it has enough weight to give cuts you make with it sufficient friction and force. It's very easy to open when you need to, but never pops open when you toss it in a tool bag or shove it in your pocket.
The included blades are also excellent, and hold up to cutting through cardboard, plastic, tape, and light gauge wire. I think these Lenox knives will be all I get in the future.

Great Quality
I have used the brand hacksaw blade for years. They have proved to be durable and cut through metal rods relatively easily.

Not for professional use--only for casual home own
True this knife feels great. It has fantastic heft and fells great in the hand. Would love to have kept using this knife. But the knife has a fatal flaw--the thumb lever is cheap forged metal. The more you slide the knife back and forth and put the knife into your toolbelt--the more chances you have to break the slide that controls the blade.
My first knife made it about 40 sheets of drywall before the thumb slide snapped. Returned the knife--got a new free one. That knife lasted maybe 30 sheets before it broke. Got a third! That too broke before getting to 40 sheets. Never once had a chance to use all the blades that come with the knife before the thumb slide would break!
Swapped to a different brand and not going back to this knife. In hanging drywall this is the only knife I've had that has actually broken. The cheapo box cutters cut hundreds of sheets and only need new blades.
