By the time he arrived home, I had the lock completely reinstalled and just had to program the code. I couldn’t believe how easy this was to install and program.

It was simple to install but took time to get the latch to align. I'm not a professional, so it took longer than most but it works well so far. You need 4 AA batteries. There's a key, if you forget the code. Great price when on sale.

I liked that you can silence the buttons so when people come home late you don't hear the beeping. Programming was frustrating but eventually you get through it. You do get what you pay for - I have had way better electronic locks but at 3 and 4 times the price.

The buttons are so hard to press in the freezing days that it timesout while you are still pressing the numbers , because every freaking button jams. Invest in good lock. Reviewing this from Toronto where winters are not as bad as rest of canada.
