Part Good, Part Bad Installation Instructions
This large base requires 2 people to 'dry' fit several times to ensure proper placement. Especially difficult is setting the drain height from the subfloor because the base is askew until leaning on to the back wall studs. The instruction are devoid of details. Start with a 4" drain pipe protrusion and trim down until correct. Better to use a brass compression drain instead of PVC drain glued on. Use stainless steel screws to secure to studs.
The base edges are prone to damage. Fortunately small fractures will be covered by drywall and floor tiles.
Install extra studs on to which the tall shower door frames are secured.

Still Looks Great
I have this shower base in my master bath. It is going on 5+ years since it's been in use. It still looks beautiful, so all in all I'm still very happy with it. It's very roomy and the seat is perfect for propping up my legs to shave. Very rarely ever sit, so the seat is mainly used as shampoo/conditioner, face wash shelf. My only complaint is the acrylic will chip. One of my sliding shower doors shattered and caused some chips. I really don't know how this could have been avoided. The chips aren't that noticeable but I do notice them when I clean. All in all I'm very happy with this shower base.
