Attractive, Feels Sturdy, But.. Leaks @ Rotation Valve
I need to concur with the Ontario, Canada poster. This unit leaks, sprays water, at the rotation junction between the main unit and the mount. If it's untouched, there is a slow leak, but when you turn the diverter valve - it's the movement of the main unit which reveals the looseness of the connector, and allows water to spray out from the top, with enough force to hit the ceiling. Any movement of the main unit causes the gap and spray. The only user-serviceable part in that fixture, is the O-Ring gasket w/screen. This unit was installed as part of a complete new bathroom gut-renovation.

Great idea but flawed design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kohler support help people gave the awaken shower combo with this diverter part to replace my much better bolder designed Converge 3-Function, Showerhead/Handshower Combo Set, 1.8 gpm. It lasted about 8 months before the plastic screw on part that attached the shower unit to the wall shower arm cracked and squirted water all over the place. Unfortunately the diverter squirted water up to the ceiling of my shower as soon as i installed it today. The attachment to the arm fit but the part that screwed onto the wall remained loose and moved so much so that the unit was not stable with the 2 awaken shower heads attached to it. It swung and flopped as well as squirting water at my ceiling. The install was correct, the washer was in place. It was properly tightened and teflon taped as required. Very disappointed. Also the awaken design is very basic plain and not bold and the 3 shower options had no massage version. But I can not use the 2 shower heads with out the converter. This Awaken 2 shower head replacement kit arrived in 2 parts this afternoon by fedex so if the units worked, the week wait was not terrible. They get a star for that.

Starts to rotate and leak at the connection nut
Although it’s nice and hefty with positive feedback on the diverter, the entire unit eventually begins to rotate and leak where it is connected to the arm. This seems to be an issue for any diverter of this type, so I suppose the design can’t be faulted for not functioning properly if the overall concept is flawed.
