Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Trimmer is not ergonomic If you like having your arms be useless then this trimmer is for you. The handle adjustment is very limited and there’s no position that balances if properly. Its even worse when flip it for edging. Thr design is extremly poor. Overall it does a very poor job and goes through a lot of string. Replacment parts are non-existent. So pray that the trimmer head doesn’t break. It’s nor hard to restring. But you have to to do it manually which takes about five minutes. The people complaining apparently don’t have mechanical skill. The blower works but is weak. There’s no flat tip available so the speed is lower than it could be. Overall it’s acceptabke because it does work and is convenient to use.

The leaf blower puts out a good amount of power and no cords or fuel/oil make it super easy use and convenient the weed wacker/edger is great. If you have other Kobalt 40volt equipment its really awesome because you can swap out batteries. I have the 40v lawn mower, hedger, and pole saw as well so running out of charge is no big deal. Definitely suggest you get all your equipment at the same Voltage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve from Excellent bang for the buck! After doing research I purchased this kit to use on my 1/4 acre property around my house, and a couple small out buildings. The weedwacker has more than enough power to edge my driveway and cut down any weeds encountered. It surprised me the first time I tried it. The power is impressive. The blower has plenty of power and had no problem clearing my carport and driveway of leaves and yard debris from mowing. I started with a full battery and had power left when done. I highly recommend this unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Allie from Leaf blower broke after 3 uses I got the leaf blower and grass trimmer this spring. After using it 3 times the piece holding the battery into the leaf blower broke. The leaf blower won’t work unless the battery is securely in (tried just pushing and holding it in place and still wouldn’t work). Tried to return at Lowe’s and they said it was past the 90 days. They said we have to go through kobalt and got the run around at the store multiple times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brad from Used once and string is gone I bought this a couple weeks ago and was excited to not have to deal with a gas trimmer. It was easy to put together out of the box. Using it was straights forward and the weight was pretty well balanced, however edging with it is not very easy. It’s hard to get it at the right angle and the guard prevents you from seeing where you are cutting. My biggest complaint and the reason I gave it a one star is I have only use le the trimmer once and it has already ran out of string!! My years does not have chain link fence of metal poles so there is no reason the string should run out that fast. Really wanted to like this but if I have replace string this often it’s going to get expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Al Funk from best bargin This bundle is really a good bargin. I need a weed eater and a blower for that were light and powerful. The weed eater is quiet and since its light, it’s very easy to control. The string that comes with it could be a little better but since its string that came with it i can’t complain. The blower is nice since now i dont have to lug around an extension cord and i can get leaves out of my gutters from a latter just fine or get lawn debris no problem.
