Description

Kobalt's tool accessory kit, of assorted wheels and blades, is designed for cutting materials such as tile, wood, hard wood, drywall, particle board, PVC, or metal. Complete most projects in one convenient package. For use with the Kobalt 24-Volt Multi-Purpose 4-In Saw. The porcelain tile blade can be used for cutting floor tile, wall tile, cement board, slate, porcelain, and stone. Cut-off wheel for cutting materials such as nails and rivets. All wheels/blades are 3.9-in in diameter, with a 7/16-in arbor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Redbone from Blades fit Dremel Ulta-Saw Reviewers who complain that no one else makes compatible blades for the Kobalt 4” saw are mistaken. These blades are the same arbor and width as blades made for the Dremel Ultra-Saw, so the 3.9” or 4” blades for these respective saws are interchangeable (the Ultra-Saw has adjustable cut depth, so it can also take blades smaller than 3.9” dia.). The wood blade for each is identical and looks like they were made at the same factory. I needed the porcelain tile blade, which Dremel doesn’t make. Conversely, Dremel makes a few flush cut blades for the Ultra-Saw that might be able to give the Kobalt saw a flush-cutting capability (?).

It is ridiculous and if Kolbalt wants to compete with other brands you need to step it up! “PLEASE???” I love the 3.9” circular saw but give us a break on the blades. After 6 months I’ll have 12 tile blades??? No use to me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nolan from Good product, bad blades. Do not buy. Good tool, bad everything else. This tool is quality for my basic uses and I am a big fan of Kobalt as they meet my budget needs. Every tool from them has delivered 100% on its design and function. I would recommened you to NOT buy this tool, as there are no blades that fit besides kobalt branded. Imagine if your iphone only charged with apple chargers. BUY ANOTHER BRAND WITH MORE UNIVERSAL BLADES.

I like having spare blades so having an extra doesn't bother me. Wood blade cuts nice and the porcelain blade is nice for those smaller clean up cuts. Cut off wheel does it's job as well.

So, I imagine a larger machine like a 5” had plenty of wheels for it that fit. I didn’t want a new grinder. I went to Home Depot.
