Rated 5 out of 5 by Ronnie from Better than expected. Sound is actually good on this speaker. In my opinion it sounds much better than another brand speaker i have. Its easy to sync to your phone and operate. It includes an auxillary cord, and an A/C power cord if you dont have the 24V battery platform. With everything it has to offer, plus the 5 year warranty, you really cant go wrong, especially while its on sale.

I’ve never had to turn it full blast to get loud enough music over job site noises. I listen to music non stop for over a week at a time before needing a charge out of the 4 amp hour battery. But even then I can plug into the wall and keep listening. Love the ability to charge my phone off of it as well. It’s taken a few tumbles but you won’t find a scratch or dent on it. Like I said has everything you need; great sound quality, reliability and longevity.

It is an excellent speaker, it runs all day and I connect my phone and it runs all day fully charged, too. I'm getting 8 hours in the sun, charging my phone streaming audio the whole time and on a 4.0 Ah battery, I'm still three charge bars. It connects easily, the volume works independently of the phone, so crank up the phone and control volume from the dust free buttons on the speaker. It does the phone thing, too! I use it with the AC adapter in the laundry room and watch videos while I fold clothes, too. A spot to store a cord would be nice, but this works well without it. This is perfect for what I need in an outdoor speaker.

I tried plugging my phone in via the USB connector to charge it and all it did was drain the battery. it showed to be charging, but sadly no. otherwise the speaker works great. plenty loud also.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tank from 24-hours old, already an issue with the bluetooth [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Per the instructions, the bluetooth module will search for a connection for 10-minutes. My unit connects, plays music, then drops the current connection and goes searching every 10-minutes. I have to completely reset the unit and reconnect to my iPhone each time. I leave my iPhone next to the unit so it isn't a distance issue and my notifications are turned off, so this isn't the problem. Anyone else experiencing this? Lastly, I am reading reviews from other owners and just read that Kobalt doesn't support 24v systems anymore? Please tell me this isn't true???

I bought this speaker a couple months ago because I had decided to go with the 24v set after testing a couple products. It is overall a great speaker for work, home, or even in the truck. good sound quality and with a 4ah battery it lasts all day. Unfortunately, tonight it shut down with a battery in it and won't turn on with a fully charged battery(also only a couple months old). It turns on fine when plugged into an outlet but that doesn't do much for me on the job. Will be calling Lowe's tomorrow to get a replacement.
