Rated 5 out of 5 by Grasshopper from Works like a champ Wow. Was very hesitant to buy this as I did not think it would replace the impact wrench we currently use. Was tired of tripping over the air line and getting the wrench to where we needed it in the shop. First day we used it to replace blades on a zero turn mower and worked great. Mildly surprised. Then we changed blades on another mower, 30mm bolts. Did not think it would pass the test but it did without any problem. If it can remove those bolts it should work on anything we maintain. I bought this on recommendation of other reviews and thought I would add my own to let you know it works great. Well worth the money. Excellent purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buck from Changed Struts I went to Lowes to purchase an Air Impact Wrench. I had a plan for what to get all written down. I had research everything on line and was ready to purchase. As was walking to the Air Tool section I spotted this pretty Kobalt 24 Volt Impact Wrench. A store worker ask if he could help me. I said I'd like to know about the wrench. He said all he know was no one ever returned one. I look at reviews on line and decided to get it and a extra battery. I'm very pleased with my selection. My grandson used it to remove the tires from his jacked up GMC 4X4 and loves it. I got the struts changed on my Ford F150 and my wife's Suburban.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Freeboda from Amazing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have a hard time rationalizing the fact that battery powered impact wrenches are more powerful than air-powered. This impact is amazingly strong. I did some suspension work on a 1998 Buick and 2006 Mazda with no worries. A little PB Blaster, let it sit a couple of minutes, and nothing stopped this beast. A couple of bolts didn't loosen right away, but I just kept the trigger depressed and sure enough they backed out! The other reviews are correct - this thing is HEAVY...and BIG. As long as you have the strength to hold it and can fit it in the space needed - nothing can stop it!

The lug nuts were previously torqued to 140 Ft. Lbs. and my other gun usually had a little hard time removing them but this beast didn't even flinch. The LED light will come in handy in dark areas plus the battery meter lets you know how much life is left. The gun is comfortable in my hand but it is heavy if you need to use it for long periods of time but I typically just use it for small jobs so that's not a issue for me. The tool bag is great and all of the items fit whit room for a extra battery plus there is two exterior pouches for other tools if needed.

I perform most vehicle tasks at home and I really needed an impact that would quickly break the lug nuts loose. I waited and read many reviews and decided on this Kobalt 24volt Impact wrench. This removes lug nuts quickly with ease unlike the older craftsman which would take some time to break ONE nut loose. The tool IS heavy so expect this. This is a great addition to my tool box and will be for yours. You will not regret buying this impact wrench. I didn't.

You'll be telling everyone you know to grab one when they go on sale. Rusted axle nuts come off out of fear before the socket even touches the nut. cant even keep her in my toolbox, coworkers all think she's theirs. go buy your own, chief. 3 or 4 of these for the price of a Snappy, but somehow even better. keep one at home, one in the truck, one at work, and one to gift.

Added it to my wishlist, however, no one gifted me this so I decided to take a drive down myself and check out the sales. This impact wrench is amazing! Took it straight home to test on some mild/ medium rusted lugs and the impact was able to get them all loose and all four wheels! This also was able to fasten all the lugs back into place with no problem. As a precaution I did manually "torque" the lugs just to be on the safe side ONLY to find out the impact had done its job and did not need any additional fastening. At a friendly price, definitely looking towards more Kobalt purchases!

My trailer shop torqued the 13/16” lug nuts on my little trailer with an 18 wheeler pneumatic impact and I broke a socket trying to remove one with a breaker bar! I dropped my trailer and drove to lowe’s. This thing took all 8 lugs off right out of the box with very little charge. If it can take those lugs off with limited battery it can handle anything you have trust me!
