Description

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stomper67 from best tool I've ever had [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 24v xtr came in a case that holds the battery and the charger,when you turn it on it has some kick to it,very strong and sturdy, cuts through a 4x4 quickly and does the job fast,very easy to use and easy to change the blade,one thing i must say after using it is ,I used it to remove a wall to expand my dining room area,and it took me about 2 hours to cut remove and shape the entry way the way I needed it and the reciprocating saw did about 80 percent of the job. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good reciprocating saw,it is so much worth it.

It seems that no matter what, the cord gets in the way, or a close by electrical outlet is non existent. This rechargeable lithium battery model solves these problems and can be used any where on my property. My new favorite off label use is cutting off small limbs on trees around my house. This saw makes pruning a breeze! The battery is small and light, charges quickly, and doesn’t add significantly to the weight of this tool. Very pleased with this Kobalt saw.

I use mostly corded tools, but this one has sold me on the power that a battery can produce! It cuts so smoothly. Wood, nails, metal,.... you name it, it cuts without hesitation! Good grip to hold onto; Doesn't vibrate much when you have its shoe properly forced beside the item to be cut. I'd definitely get one of these for my toolbox if I didn't already have one. I don't know much about brushless motors, but so far it's doing well for me.

Never expected it to perform as well as the old saw but was suprised at the power and versatility this saw provided. The battery lasted hours even with constant use. It cut through steel and treated 4x4 lumber like cutting through butter! I could not be more pleased .... Changing the blade is a snap. You twist theblade lock and it releases the blade... no more using a hex wrench

This thing is the best recip saw we've ever used. Only downside is it's a bare tool so no high output battery included but considering the competition is more expensive and doesn't include a battery it's pretty reasonable

And it's very fast as well. Thoroughly enjoy using this superior tool over my other saws. Batteries are very compact and easy to change out. I recommend getting a few to have others available when one goes dead. Great product!
