Description
This KitchenAid cooktop has 5 burners controlled by stylish knobs with built-in LED indicator lights. The exclusive 10,000-BTU Even-Heat Torch burner delivers both a soft flame for delicate simmering, and a larger, more intense flame that distributes powerful heat to cookware. The stellar 17,000-BTU dual ring burner quickly brings water to a boil and is ideal for searing and stir-frying. The stainless steel surface's permanent CookShield finish simplifies cleanup and eliminates the need for harsh chemicals. The burners are sealed to prevent food and liquids from leaking in. The appliance's electronic ignition system removes the need to maintain a pilot flame, so you also benefit from energy savings. On top of that, if the flame goes out while you're cooking, it's automatically reignited.

Burner Choice and Flame Height Arrows Not Visible
Can't see the etched diagrams for burner choice, so it's impossible to tell which burner you're turning on. Also cannot see the arrows that are meant to provide the direction to turn a flame higher or lower, which can (and in our case did) lead to a safety concern. These items are pictured as black in the marketing photos, very easy to see in the marketing photos. In reality, the etching is silver (not black) and impossible to see against the stainless steel.

Easy too Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used now for 45 Days and it has satisficed all our cooking needs. Burners have plenty of power with propane we use here. The grates are big and hold the pots and pans with room too spare. Love it.
