Description
This KitchenAid cooktop provides lots of versatility combined with an elegant design. The 17,000-BTU multi-flame burner allows for both high and low-temperature cooking, so you can go from a boil to a simmer without changing burners. On the other hand, the 5000-BTU Even-Heat simmer burner has a heat diffusion plate for better control of the flame at lower temperatures. The pilotless electronic ignition system and automatic reignition feature ensure the burner is relit if the flame goes out mid-cooking. In addition, full-width cast iron grates enhance the cooktop's look and allow you to easily move the cookware around the cooking surface.

Dishwasher, base cabinet Oven & the stovetop 5 burner (natural gas).
They are all the finest quality and work great.
The dishwasher is extremely quiet and efficient.

5th Burner

My main issue is that the burners are a little far away from the end of the counter. The 5th burner in the middle is too far. I should have gotten just the regular 4 burners.

solid appliance, but watch that middle burner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product works fine. The big burner in the middle heats very quickly. It is our most used burner. Sometimes tho, when you put it down to simmer for awhile, when you start to turn the knob back around to off, the flame can potentially go out, or it flickers a little. It seems there is a small delay there. I'm watching this and hope I dont need to call a tech to repair. Easy to clean.
