This oven provides convection cooking by letting heat circulate around the oven cavity with a 1,600-watt convection element. The EasyConvect(TM) conversion system takes the guesswork out of convection cooking by ensuring exceptional results when experimenting with new recipes. The crisper pan can be used to brown, crisp, and pan-fry foods. It features a sensored microwave oven cycle that allows precise steaming based on the food type and doneness level selected. It includes a steamer container to help you get the best results. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour and by a 2nd through 5th year limited warranty on certain components part only.

I’m not a big “microwaver” but the few things I use one for makes it a necessity and having a dual oven now makes so much more use out of the space used by a microwave. The microwave features in this are top notch...they have a quick start button for everything that I use a microwave for...popcorn, reheat, melt/soften and defrost...nothing out of the ordinary, just everything I need with one touch. The pizzazz is the convection feature...just incredible for cooking a smaller meal and not having to use the range oven. Don’t worry about microwave splash with heating grates on top. It snaps out easily to lower and clean (see picture). Great great appliance and so happy I went with this instead of a plain microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Savanna from Best microwave yet! I have only had this microwave for 3 weeks, so I cannot speak on it's durability over time, but so far I am impressed! I originally was going to do a microwave drawer but just could not wrap my head around how "pulling out" a drawer full of hot soup would be clean and hassle free, especially at the exact height for small kids. I also didn't want a standard, over the stove, microwave. This is so beautifully designed. I have been complimented on it multiple times already! There are many features I haven't even tried yet but I am planning on digging into it and see what this thing can do! Buttons are easy to locate and get started. Design is sleek and modern. I put the warming drawer below this and love how functional my kitchen has become. This blows the awful "drawer" design right out of the water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We paid a lot of money for a full kitchen remodel with all Kitchen Aid appliances. We picked mainly on style and function and did not really check reviews for reliablility. We probably should have done that since it stopped working about three weeks after we had in installed. We have been without the use of it for two weeks waiting for a repairman and now the part to fix it.

Takes forever and leaves many unpoped kernels. I wish that the instruction manual had better directions for how to use the convection oven. No instructions on what can be left in the microwave when oven is on- do you take everything out?? Wish there were better instructions on this- and if there are- please let me know. Seems to work ok. BE VERY AWARE THIS TAKES A 220 VOLT OUTLET. Had to hire an electrician to run a new line from breaker box to the kitchen to accommodate this, as just had one outlet for the wall oven.

We wanted it to function like an auxiliary oven, as well as a microwave, and so far it has worked well as both. The preset menus are easy to navigate and the settings are easy to adjust. The accessories are useful and easy to clean. We especially like the steam vessel for some quick frozen veg. We have had a couple of issues with the unit not turning on until you clear the time and start inputting instructions again but I will update it once I have called for service.

Well worth the investment. I especially love the steamer function for fresh veggies, as it cooks fresh vegetables perfectly with no guess work. The convection cooking feature is also great for side dishes, fries or roasted chicken.

I ended up with this oven after the previous model was a lemon. I like this one much better because it is much quieter. You can hardly hear it when it is on. I would definitely recommend the extended warranty. I am not a believer in extended warranties, but based on my experience with the first microwave, I decided that it was a must. They are expensive and I didn't want to take a chance of having issues with it without the extended warranty. Really enjoy using this microwave as a convection oven. Takes no time to preheat and does a nice job on biscuits, pizzas, etc.
