Does this have any sealant in it? it would be nice to know.

Probably not. Grout is grout. Sometimes you get Grout+adhesive. But rarely you'd see Grout+Sealant. I'd buy sealant separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by diyjunkie from perfect for small jobs The directions for use (as of March 2012) are on the lid. You add 5oz of water to the dry mix in the container and stir for 3-5 minutes. I used this product for touch-ups in our bathrooms because we're getting our house ready for market. It works perfectly and the price is just right for these small jobs. It does not hold well in the container after using it. By the next day it was rock hard. I didn't expect otherwise, but now I need more because I've found more areas to touch-up. At this price, I can afford to go back for more.

I bought this smaller bucket and used it for the 10lb bag grout as well. It worked out perfectly. Mixed only the amount I need in the timeframe that the product is workable. And I didn't have to be concerned with finding another bucket or correct amounts to mix. I still needed to consult MAIPEI website to ensure accuracy but I am always researching everything. Below is a working photo of the grout work. Left ungrouted, right has grout.

It's simple to mix, easy to apply and clean up and so far seems to be holding up well. I waited a while to write this and let it go through a bunch of showers and then checked it again. It looks good and is holding up after use and cleaning. And the price is right. The only down side is very limited instructions but I figured it out.

It just involved a bit of trial and error! It didn't come with any instructions on how much water to use per amount of powder, and it also didn't come with any measuring tools or anything. It mixed well with the cement color I bought, so that was nice. I liked the product, I just wish there was more directions included.

PROS: -Just about the perfect amount of grout for 12-15 ft2 of white 3x6 subway tile backsplash CONS -Container needs to be larger to allow mixing and use out of the purchased tub.
