Description
The "Acculine Tru-Line" aluminum cutting guide provides true and accurate cuts. It includes two 49'' heavy-duty extruded aluminum rails, a patented quick-to-assemble connector, four screws and two ''C'' clamps. The guide extends to 8'. It can be used with various cutting tools such as circular saws, routers, utility knifes, jigsaws and other tools.

Better than nothing
I had a similar product that I used for years but accidentally got bent. This product was needed to get a straight edge on some 7 foot boards. This could not quite be achieved although much improved. I'll have to do some fine planing and sanding to get edges to match for the table top I'm making. So for those of us that do not have the space or can not afford full size table saws and jointers, etc., it allows to do some woodworking. For less precise cuts to say plywood, it's probably fine. It's not heavy duty so is meant for occasional use.
