**BEWARE**Make sure all the pieces fit!!!!!
If all the pieces fit, this would be great. Got the holes for the handle drilled by only starting with the template. Hole saw was too big for the template so it locked up. Good thing I was able to use the hole from the bit as a guide so that part was finished.
When I went on to drill the hole for the bolt, the hole saw did not fit on the bit! The "oval" shape of the bit was way too big for the hole saw. A 15 minute project has now turned into two days because it is too late to go back to the store tonight.

DON'T BUY IT
I just recently purchased a home and needed to install a couple of deadbolts. I figured this kit would work because the doors I would be working with were all wooden. I started with my front door. Drilling took a while and by the time I was through the teeth on the hole saw were very dull. I tried drilling the next door and the saw wouldn't even cut anymore. I had to go back and purchase a Lenox to finish the job. My advise, even if you're working with just wood spend a few more dollars and get the bi-medal kit or go with the dewalt or a Milwaukee brand kit.

Horrible Product - Got One Use Before Breaking
I also experienced the issues the other reviewers did but in addition mine only got me about 3/4 of a hole before breaking. The fitting that secures the hole saw to the drill bit completely stripped out. The tool is useless now. Atleast it got me 3/4 of a hole... Good enough to finish with a hammer and chisel. Spend the extra money, this thing is horrible.

Great for once or twice
I bought this item to drill several doors. It didn't really hold up well. The overall concept is great but the lightweight plastic just doesn't hold up. At one point, the hole saw jumped and the frame broke. Basically, only got two doors done.

NON FUNCTIONING
I bought this item a few months ago when I purchased 5 new slab doors. Unfortunately almost nothing in the kit actually works. The jig for the knob cut-out is too small and the blade binds the second you pull the drill trigger. I had to break the jig to get the bit out. The fake rotor bit that is supposed to cut a recess for the latch plate cannot even dent the wood door edge. So I am left with 2 drill bits that are functional - which I could have purchased separately for less - and better quality. I see the product in store now looks a little bit different than the one I have so maybe they solved the jig problem but I suggest you learn from my mistake and keep your receipt until AFTER you try to cut your first door.

Berry Poor Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VERY CHEAP! I thought this kit offered a lot for the price. I found out why. Very cheap quality and very poor design. The hole guide that wraps around the door is screwed in place at the end of the door but the cheap plastic guides move while drilling the 2 1/8" hole. Then the small template that you screw into the end of the door to router the area where the latch assembly recesses into the door is made of plastic. As a result the router bit gouges into the plastic template which results in a very out of shape area for the template. This kit is a WASTE OF MONEY!!If it were made of metal type material it would be very useful but the cheap plastic just doesn't cut it!

Must have for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have kit if you’re installing a new hole for a latch or a deadbolt in a door. Most kits like this do not have the router bit. However you do get what you pay for don’t expect either the holesaw‘s or especially the router bit to last more than a few doors. Route an inch at a time with the router bit and allow it to cool off otherwise it gets too hot and will melt the surrounding plastic template.

Threaded Mandrell did not fit both hole saws
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had same problem as others. The drill bit danced around. It might do better if instead of using the drill you hand cranked a mark on the wood. And then when I went to remove the "Threaded Mandrell" pilot bit, I had to use a clamp around the 2 1/8 in hole saw and a wrench on the pilot bit to loosen it. But I might as well not have bothered, because the pilot bit won't fit the 1 in hole saw. This is worthless. I'll but the more expensive kit next time.
