Cold steel Chisel - Quality Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed this for a tile job, a 7' x 8' area, I removed the tile and needed this tool to help me get all the dried thinset up. Although this tool required a lot of beating to get the job done. This tool helped me make clean the surface to put new tile down. It is definitely a member of my travel tools and I intend to buy a few more.

Made cutting pavers easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to try using this to cut pavers before I bought yet another saw blade or tool. Worked like a charm, scored the pavers (2.25inch thick) then slowly worked the chisel back and forth and snap, perfect cuts and made installing my pavers a breeze!

Chisel is a bit soft but not too bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chisel worked fine for removing a brick platform that held a wood burning stove. The metal is a bit softer than an older chisel I was using but it mostly kept it's edge.i liked the guard a lot. I'm not a bad aim with a hammer but the guard let me really swing without worrying about hitting my hand.

Not your average chisel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because it looked cool. Thought it would work for my application. It didn’t. Then I was asked to rate the chisel I bought. That’s when I realized it was a brick chisel. Went straight outside and started chiseling brick with it. Let me just say it works great as a chisel. Not so well as a cake decorating tool.

Good chisel, not so good grip Shield
Good strong sharp chisel; withstood 30 minutes of chiseling old ceramic tiles off a concrete floor w/no problem or significant dulling. It could use a larger, more substantial striking surface, and the grip is too chunky to be comfortable. Grip also needs to be glued to the chisel; keeps sliding up to the top and getting in the way of the hammer head. But overall, a good chisel for a reasonable price.

Works as advertised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this chisel together with a 1" cold chisel to split retaining wall blocks. Patience and a speed square resulted in cleanly split blocks. Good value.
