Find the stud and bolt it into that. Do not go into drywall by itself.

by using a hammerdrill and concrete inserts, either 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch inserts all available at any fastener location

I bought them at the Burlington, ON store on sale. Oh, best to lay three tires flat and tuck to tires in between vertically otherwise the tires on the ends can fall out as those brackets on the end offer little support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tirerackbuyer from Solid rack Purchased with no regrets. Relatively easy installation and feels very solid mounted on the wall. Purchased on sale. I think the folding feature works fine, but I expect there will always be tires on it so that doesn't matter much to me. Possible downside is that the arms must be installed at studs, so you are restricted to having the rack width be either 32" or 48". For me, 32" was insufficient, but 48" seems like a bit much. It might be possible with the 48" setting that the tires could get knocked over and fall out since there's so much extra space.
