Description
This Honeywell Home thermostat will make you rediscover comfort at home! This easy-to-use device is equipped with a backlit screen that simultaneously displays the current room temperature and the selected temperature, which gives you a clear idea of //the difference between the two. Temperature adjustments can be done in 0.5 degrees increments and you can choose to display it in Fahrenheit or Celsius, according to your preferences. This device automatically changes from heat to cool, which means that you don't need to program anything when drastic changes in temperature occur. In addition, the thermostat tells you if the batteries need be replaced soon, not to mention that the program is retained in memory in case of power failure. Finally, this unit includes a UWP mounting system, hardware, as well as a quick installation guide and uses 2 AA batteries (not included) for operation. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

Easy to use!
I had this in my old house for years and loved it. So obviously had to get another for my new house! On year 3 and still works perfectly! Will continue to use this product and repurchase if needed for any future homes!

i dare you to try to set it up without instruction
The non-programmable thermostat needs to be initially programmed. it worked for 2 weeks, then needed to be reprogrammed again......finding any instructions on line is impossible. I don't recommend products that are not supported well by the manufacturer.

Second one in 6 months - garbage
Both thermostats worked great when first installed. First one stopped working (buttons would not work when pushed) figured it was just a lemon. Purchased the same one again and I he exact same thing has occurred. After a period of time (2months) the buttons are not responding again. Don’t waste your money on this thermostat, it’s garbage

Should have trusted the reviews
Like many others here, I am on thermostat #2 within the last 3 weeks. Same story as the others: stuck at 50 degrees and the buttons will not work. Sounds like a class action lawsuit will be coming their way. Clearly a problem.

Short Lifespan.
Over about two years, I have gone through four of these thermostats. They lock up and most of the time cooling setpoint sets itself to 50 degrees and no buttons can change the setpoint. My system continues to cycle on & off, so I assume it is using my last setpoint of 73 degrees, but 50 degrees is displayed as the setpoint. You cannot enter the MENU mode. Indoor temperature still displays correctly, but the interface is dead. Removing the batteries and reinstalling them does not reset the thermostat.

First one didn't work, right out of the box!
It didn't work properly, right out of the box. The setup mode adjustments didn't all work. I called support and was told to go back to store to exchange for a new thermostat. Easy enough to do, but a waste of my time. Plus a 12 mile round trip to the store. I noticed on your website that most of the reviewers gave this model thermostat a ONE STAR! I hope I have better experience with mine, but am unsure after the first one didn't even work! What happened to the Honeywell brand? It used to symbolize high quality!
