It's perfect for storing heavy items like plastic bins, but really it's sturdy enough to be used for almost anything. It was easy to put together, though if you don't have someone to help you move it you're going to want to put it together wherever it's going to stand because it's a bit heavy. I've got all of my craft supplies on it and I loaded it up with pretty boxes. Honestly, I need another one. This thing is great!

I am really impressed with the strength and the durability of the shelves! I have the black storage rack and it looks really nice and definitely not like the average utility shelf. It came with some extra parts which I really appreciated!! It is perfect for creating more storage space and is not terribly bulky. I absolutely love that it has helped me to get my space organized!! I highly recommend it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael247 from Sturdy shelving unit I ordered the 5-tier shelving unit online, and the delivery was made to my home in a reasonable amount of time. Assembly was easy and straight forward. I chose this shelving unit to display heavy metal objects inside a cabinet, and the results exceeded my expectations. Good quality construction. The price was higher than I expected, but well worth it in the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andie from Easy to assemble, not wobbly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I, a petite female, assembled the Honey-Can-Do 5 tier 800 lb Storage Rack myself in my garage. Assembly took just under an hour and a half. The only thing I needed help with was standing it up (I assembled it on its side on the ground). Currently the self is holding laundry and cleaning supplies. The grates on the shelfs are about 1" apart and the shelves themselves are adjustable. I Have not tried to adjust shelf height after I initially assembled, so I am not sure how easy/hard that would be. Also the top shelf does not have to be on the top-- it can be at a lower height. I would recommend having a car-size space available when assembling and to assemble it in the room that you want the item in (it would be hard to navigate through narrow doorways). 100% recommend this brand for easy assembly.

But it was a giant pain to put together. The little plastic pieces that hold the shelves on don't stay to move the shelf down. It's definitely a 3 person job putting it together.

It holds so much(up to 500 pounds) and has made my closet so much more organized! We have a tiny pantry so I store extra food and such in my walk in closet and this has been great for organizing and storing stuff!
