Overall good product with a few small issues
This is a nice sturdy hand grip, with a good design and nice style.
I installed it for my elderly parents in the shower/tub area and they like it.
There are two small issues regarding installation:
First, the directions say to drill 1/8" pilot holes, but the screws are too big for this. I had to use 3/16ths ceramic tile bit and then another longer bit for the wooded stud behind the tiles.
Secondly the included screws are not very good quality. they are soft metal and the Philips head easy gets stripped. They are also extremely long. I ruined a couple of them and ended up using better quality screws with a hex heads, as they don't show once the caps are put back on.

Grab bar for safety in the shower
I installed two of these grab bars in the shower my father-in-law uses. His balance is not very good. It gives him a solid handle to grip instead of grabbing the shower door or thin air. Neither alternate is good with the latter being far worse. The mounting holes are not necessarily ideal, though. When mounting to a stud, at best you can get only two of the three screws solidly into the stud for each end. The directions say this is adequate, but with a little adjustment on the location of the three holes, I wonder if it is possible to get all three into the stud. That being said, they are solid; I'm just a bit of detail-oriented perfectionist on such things.

Excellent design
This is a simple yet efficient grab bar. It's relatively easy to install. My elderly parents have several in their house in places where they need a bit extra stability. One really neat thing is that where a person's fingers land on the handle when gripping the bar there is a sturdy, rubberized area that helps provide better grip than other grab bars. Also, with the smooth design and shape, there are no sharp edges to hurt if someone accidentally bumps into it. This grab bar is a very good value for the money.

Very useful item
Needed "something" that I could grab onto to help get my "big boy design" into my work van. Purchased two of these when my wife redid our bathroom shower to help my 91 year old father take a shower. Thought I would give it a try in my van. The screw cover is very tight, yes. Hard to remove, yes. Wouldn't want it any other way. Mounted it using (4) 10-24 bolts (3/4" long) and captive nuts. It says it has a 250 pound rating. Believe me when I say I put it through a "stress test" and I didn't hear it cry, scream or buckle. Believe another one will end up at the rear doors of my work van.

Moen 9" Grab Bar
I purchased 3 of these for our basement step area. I needed them on an opposite wall of a regular railing.
The grab bars were perfect to help my husband during his broken foot. I also find them great for anyone using the steps.
A plumber who was buying them also for a job, recommended this particular ESPECIALLY because of the rounded corners if someone should fall against them. Besides looking nice in there selected locations they are also handy to grab for anyone using the steps. EASY to install and not too pricey.

A nice looking grab bar
I installed two in our bathroom to help my husband who has Parkinson's. They work great and are very solid. I found the screws provided a little large for the task and had to use a smaller size. The cover for the screws was on very tight and hard to remove. I had to pry it up with a screwdriver before I could install them. Other than that, I consider them a good buy and so much better to look at than the standard grab bars.

Good quality, good value
I bought two grab bars for the back porch, to assist me with steps. One is mounted against a stucco wall, the other against wood siding. I believe my handyman used molly bolts with the stucco mounting and the package screws for the wood side. The grab bars are heavy duty with a nice finish and design. I did quite a bit of on-line browsing for grab bars before purchasing these & believe they are a really good value. Glad I chose them.

Really nice, like it
I bought these for the two baths for visitors and such, but the installer said they were not long enough to attach to the studs. He had no problems with the style, material or anything. My shower stalls are the molded stuff and he couldn't install them on the back wall to grab onto as he was concerned it would crack the shell. So I will take them back and get the bigger ones.
