Rated 4 out of 5 by Rich from Solid Product These bars are well made stainless steel welded flanges and support alot of weight. Installation is easy if installing a new wall (e.g. install a horizontal 2x4 between existing studs) if you plan ahead. Dosn't work to well if installing over existing tile or sheet rock for which you have to use toggle bolts to mount the side that misses the 2x4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dan from Grab bar This is a nice sturdy grab bar. I installed it next to the toilet for my mother who is up in age. On a tile wall. I was able to hit one stud. Used the wall mounting kit sold separately made by the same company for the other side. Came out nice and sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by craig from went in with ease and its the first thing i grab 4 Went in with ease just outside shower opening to grab on to before stepping out onto to tiled floor so u dont slip and fall specialy if you forget to place a towel on floor i installed for saftey as we also rent this unit i also installed one inside the stand up shower to hold on to while trying to wash feet great durable product i also used the 500 pound screw in mollys for extra safety that i als!o bought at lowes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting p in years and the lose of balance control, this item placed on the wall next to the toilet helps both getting onto the toilet and off. Stabilizes me when putting my clothes back on. attached to the wall was easy and placed in a way as not unattractive to the design of the bathroom. I also have two of these in my shower and one just outside the shower, which also not only helps my balance when drying off put is used as a towel holder. These grab bars placed in the right areas is a good determent from injury and a trip to the emergency room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Schnauzer from Grab Bar,slip resistent 18" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 36" grab bar installed on the main wall in the bath and I saw a need to have another on the other wall so I purchased an 18" one. The best feature is that it is slip resistent so your hand does not slip on the bar and the screws are hidden so it enhances the custom look of my bath remodel. Also the brushed nickel/stainless finish complements the other fixtures in the bath.
