Bonjour Peewee12, Merci pour votre question! Vous pouvez utiliser une scie circulaire ou une scie à onglet avec une lame au carbure.
Le capuchon s'adaptera parfaitement sur le dessus même si les poteaux sont coupés.

Can you use more than one spacer between the boards… making larger spaces for air flow

All spacers are shaped like an H, so using two spacers on top of another would leave a gap in between them and wouldn't look so good, but the technical answer is yes, it is feasable!

Bonjour, J'aurais deux questions: 1- Est-ce qu'on peut installer les lattes de bois sans espace (sans spacers), pour donner encore plus d'intimité? 2- Est-ce qu'on peut installer les poteaux aussi sur des pieux vissés? Merci

1- Oui il est possible d'installer les planches les unes sur les autres sans les espaceurs, mais il est fortement recommandé de glisser trois espaceurs entre les 4 planches du haut puisque les espaceurs servent aussi de clou et solidifie l'assemblage.
2- Certains clients ont réussis à installer nos poteaux sur pieux vissés, mais nous recommandons, dans cette situation, d'utiliser nos poteaux de 8' et de les mettre 2' dans le béton sous-terre et 6' hors-terre. Cette installation est plus solide.

Merci pour votre question concernant nos produits HOFT! Oui il vous sera possible d'utiliser nos poteaux, mais avant tout vous devez demander un permis à votre ville, afin de s'assurer qu'il vous est possible de faire cette installation. De plus si vous obtenez la permission de la ville, nous vous suggérons de coller vos planches du bas sans mettre d'espaceurs, vous pourrez mettre des espaceurs entrent les 4 planches du haut afin d'assurer une meilleur stabilité et faire en sorte qu'aucun enfants ne puisse grimper après les panneaux d'intimité. Thank you for your question regarding the Installation of our HOFT post!
We don’t suggest to put our post onto a patio stone, you would need at least 4 of them glued together, we strongly suggest to anchor our posts in ground, you have to dig a hole 9’’ diameter x 42’’ deep, pour concrete and smoothen the surface. Wait for it to dry at least 72 hrs and then anchor ur posts using concrete anchors (3/8’’ diameter x 3’’ 1/2 long) like these : https://www.hilti.ca/fr/c/CLS_FASTENER_7135/CLS_SCREW_ANCHORS_7135/r4800

Bonjour , Afin d'installer un panneau dans le gazon nous devons l'installer de quelle façon ?
Bonjour Ulric, Merci pour votre question concernant l'installation de nos kits HOFT. Donc voici 2 techniques, si vous souhaitez installer nos poteaux de 6' sur le gazon, vous pouvez creuser un trou de 9 '' de diamètre x 42 '' de profondeur, couler du béton dans les trous et lisser la surface. Attendez qu'il sèche au moins 72 heures, puis installez nos poteaux à l'aide d'ancrages en béton (3/8 '' x 3 '' 1/2). la seconde solution si vous souhaitez installer nos poteaux de 8', vous devez creuser un trou de 8'' de diamètre x 36'' de profondeur, couler le béton et insérer les poteaux de 8' dans le béton. Simple assembly, elegant look.
Very clean look. I mounted mine on 8” x 4’ concrete form tubes. That was the hard part. I used 3/8” x 4” galvanized bolts with washers & nuts. 2 nuts per bolt. Attach the 4 bolts to the mounting plate. Set the bolt heads into wet concrete. Once dried, remove top nuts, and take off mounting plate, attach plate to post and return to concrete base. Plumb the post by adjusting the bottom nuts then secure it with the top nuts. This method keeps the base plate from contacting the concrete and makes for a very solid structure. I pre-finished the 5/4” deck boards then stacked them in the posts in a matter of minutes. I’ll eventually paint the hardware black to match the posts.

Poor Quality Control
I bought this recently and have all the boards stained, pilot holes drilled in the deck and all the packaging thrown out. I'm mounting the anchor plates to the posts when I realize two of the holes weren't fully threaded so i cannot attach the anchor plate...nothing like wasting your time on a sub par product...

Bought with Kit C to make a 9' privacy fence on my deck. Very easy to install and work with. Just follow the directions and it is a breeze to install in no time. Would definitely buy again if I need another privacy fence.
