Description

This HOFT A6 kit includes a 3-in x 3-in x 72-in black powder-coated aluminum end post and all necessary hardware to create your privacy screens and fences. Featuring an innovative robust structural design, this kit includes a fast and easy slide installation system that requires no nails. Simply choose your preferred wood or composite planks (planks need be 1-in or 5/4-in thick to fit HOFT railing system, and a maximum length of 6-ft).

What is the section bracket for? I bought H19001 - the privacy fence kit as it comes with two end posts. It doesn't come with the section bracket and I'm wondering if I need it. I bought the kit simply because it was less expensive and I needed two ends.

Hi mc519, Our HOFT section bracket and the wood screw, is fixed in the upper panel. This way the movement of the wood will not jeopardize the support, but instead move up and down in the post rail as the wood planks swell and shrink with the changes of weather. Thanks, HOFT Team!

Is there a screen that is higher than 6 feet?

The unit comes with only one post. Do I need to purchase a second post?

Hi, Thank you for your question regarding our HOFT Kits! Please note that you can either buy one post alone or you can buy a kit of 2 posts, both kits are offered at Lowe's. The A6 kit as only one post inside the box, Lowe's SKU#2735504 The AA6 kit as 2 posts inside the box, Lowe's Sku#: 1271223 If you want to built a 6' Privacy Screen, you will need two End posts, but if you want to begin with a 6' post and after that you want to lower you fence to 44'', at that time you would need one 6' End Post and continue with a 44''. Is this self standing? Can it blow over in the wind?

What is the width
