1/2" x 1/4" brass bushing
General:
The Watts 1/2" x 1/4" brass bushing is just right for adding a pressure gauge to your well (or pool) pump. It seems to be decent quality and it's certified lead free.
Installation:
Wrap your 1/4" NPT pressure gauge's threads in high-quality Teflon tape (e.g. Blue Hawk gray) clockwise for 3 wraps. Install gauge inside of this bushing. Install the bushing & gauge into a PVC side outlet elbow with 1/2" threaded outlet or reducing tee with 1/2" threaded outlet. Turn them tight, but not Hulked down. Tighten both gauge and bushing (alternating) until the gauge is facing the correct direction. Note that bushing into PVC will give more than gauge into bushing.
