Description

The Greenworks 16-in 10 A electric snow shovel is an easy-to-use alternative to gas-powered snow throwers. It clears a 16-in path in snow up to 10-in deep and discharges snow up to 20 ft away. An adjustable handle, 7-in radial wheels, and a cord lock make this tool easy to use. This electric snow shovel does not put out carbon emissions. 16-in clearing path makes light work of sidewalks, patios and driveways. The discharge chute rotates 180 degrees for full directional control of discharge.

Had bought it as Final Clearance sale in November 2021 from a local LOWE's, and finally got to use it after the Snowmageddon we had 2 days ago, here in the GTA! Now, there are far more powerful snowthrowers in the market, but for the throwaway Clearance price, this machine works like a horse! Yes, it won't throw the snow far, but its designed for smaller driveways anyways. The machine cleans right down to the asphalt and if the snow is dry, it does throw it far. Any depth more than 10 inches, I did the snow removal in layers and it worked fine. So, finally it is not a replacement for the manual snow shovels you have, but a great addition to your snow removal arsenal at home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AbhiBur from Very Disappointing Bought it in clearance hoping for a value product. Have just used once and worked for the first 5 mins. After that the chute from where snow blows out got clogged and had to keep cleaning it manually but couldn’t get to the inside. So the snow kept flying around the base and just spreading it even more. Also with the resistance from snow, the handle bolts snapped so have to bend and hold the lower handle. Can’t even return as it is clearance and final sale. Maybe this particular unit is faulty but most disappointing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by kdsak from Surprising power Finally got enough snow to try mine out. Cut through 6 inches with no issues. Where there were large drifts I just lifted the front end by pushing the handle down and removed the snow in layers. It doesn't throw the snow very far but it got the job done.

Facile à assembler et opérer. Je suis satisfaite de la puissance considérant le prix. Le produit est parfait pour l’usage que j’en fais. Je peux maintenant déneiger ma cour en une fraction du temps et d’énergie. J’ai même pu me frayer un chemin jusqu’à ma cour arrière dans plus d’un pied de neige (avec de la patience).

Rated 2 out of 5 by encee from This Snow Thrower will handle light snow only. It will not throw heavy snow nor will it scrape it clear or work in ice. It is plastic. It is useful if one keeps in mind these limitations.
