Description

This green self-levelling cross line laser from DeWalt is ideal for projecting lines with an enhanced visibility at up to 75'. The laser is accurate to more or less 1/8" at 30' in levelling applications, is equipped with a 1/4" thread mount for use with a tripod, and an overmolded housing to maintain calibration. Includes 3 AA batteries for 40 hours runtime. Backed up with a 3-Year limited warranty.

Is the line visible outside on a nice day?

Can you describe nice? Warm? Sunny? Light breeze? Smell of a light ocean mist on your palette? Cause those are definately all depending factors! But it’s basically the same as a red laser in sunlight! If that’s all you meant by “nice”?

The green light is awesome for seeing a long ways. Finaly decided to write it a 5 start review after dropping it 30 feet onto concrete off a lift. Not even a scratch. 5 stars for durability, 5 stars for light, 4 stars on magnets

Tried to use it again a week ago and the horizontal line won’t turn on. Tried to get some help from dewalt and all I got was crickets. No one has gotten back with me yet. I love all my dewalt tools but this one is a piece of crap.

This thing is great but get yourself some spare batteries because it chews them up. Other than that, I love how bright the green laser is ( yes its worth the extra cash) and that you can see it during the day when most people would use their laser levels. This thing has so many uses that I was able to easily justify the price. I think it would be great if it had a lock and plumb feature available on some others. I knocked it one star for the battery situation. Carrying case is great and solid. Although I haven't used the ceiling joist mount I imagine it would be useful for some. The tripod mount is perfect and fits most standard tripods and the magnetic mount is awesome. I have used it on the metal corner beads and it is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jay10 from Love this thing!! Easy to use. So happy I purchased this because it comes in handy when a normal level doesn’t suffice. It’s super easy to use and the green laser is much easier to see than the red. Only downside is it chews through batteries quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Xray812 from Great little laser but it seems a sensor lock. This dewalt laser is great for the price and dependable to a point. It doesn’t have a lock so a fall or some heavy movement will throw off the sensor and then you have to Calibrate it or have it serviced. You should really add a lock it would make make it a easy choice for construction workers knowing it won’t be off alignment so easy. But other than that a great laser
