You can control it from anywhere using your phone, tablet or laptop, and works with Nest Temperature Sensor. Google Nest Learning Thermostat features built-in Farsight for high-resolution display, and sends heating and cooling system alerts so you can always be aware of temperature fluctuations. Remote control and mobile notifications require working Internet and Wi-Fi. Alerts can notify you of a potential issue with eligible HVAC systems. • Nest uses smart learning technology and learns your schedule and heating/cooling preferences over time
• Remote sensors: While the Google Nest Thermostat may be compatible with this system, it won't be able to gather data from existing remote sensors.
• Some micro-controller based systems: Systems that use micro-controllers instead of relays are sometimes more sensitive to power sharing. If so, the Google Nest Thermostat may need a common wire to be compatible with these systems.
