Just ordered 587569 Mfr Part # GLL 150 ECK. Does the LR30 receiver aid in keeping the leveling rod plumb? If not, how does one ensure the leveling rod is plumb when taking readings? Thank you.
Can this model be equally used outside and inside or should I look for another model?
how long is the warranty ? if there is an issue with the self-levelling transit where do I go to get it repair ?

Great purchase
I bought this laser level in order to get the basement floor to grade on my new house. I couldn't find a lot of reviews on this laser but I took a chance and went with the name Bosch. I am sure there are a lot of laser levels out there that do more stuff, but for simple grade and level line applications, I don't think you can go wrong with this, especially at this price point. We used it for two days, ten hours plus each day and had no issues. The grade rod and tripod are not exactly industrial grade but they get the job done, and it is nice to have everything in one box.

broken receiver
the laser is actually very good, but within a month of purchasing the receiver was damaged and cannot find a replacement anywhere! Even Bosch does not have it - apparently only sold as a kit... We can't be the only company to need either the receiver or the laser replaced. How does Bosch not have it available for consumers. The one theey suggested we use we had already tried and it is not compatible with the laser at least not for how we use it.

Not suitable for outdoor use
Technically false advertising as this unit has never worked properly outside. If the sun is shining it’s useless outdoors and when it does work it has a range of about 100-150ft. Beeper on receiver stopped working after first use. Buy another brand for this much $.

Stay away
I bought this for grading work on a property and "shoot" elevations for footings and foundation. Right out of the box with the level on the tripod at approx 4.5 feet off the ground, at 65 feet it is " shooting" right at the ground when it should be 2.75 above ground(checked with a manual builders level when something didn't seem right) This is a extreme disappoint bc bosch used to be the top of the line. Back in the day you didn't mind paying extra for bosch bc you knew you were getting something excellent right out of the box. Not so much anymore. by the way when you pulled out your Bosch tool on the job other contractors on the job knew you were the real deal not the wanna bees with the yellow tools. This will be going back in the morning.
