Description
The Compact water heater from Giant® is designed to meet a particular hot water demand. The interior of the tank is coated with a blue cobalt glass enhanced with zircon, a feature unique to Giant®. This water heater is equipped with adjustable thermostats with automatic temperature control. Its high-quality magnesium anode offers an excellent protection against the corrosive effects of water. Its superior quality fibreglass insulation is both efficient and ecological. This product is manufactured in Canada and is backed by a 6-year limited warranty against tank perforation and 1-year limited warranty on parts. To benefit from the warranty, the water heater must not be laid on its side during transportation.

We bought this to replace the one we had (another brand) for over 13 years. The connection on this one requires hose sizes that were not available without Jerry rigging using a couple of connectors. The connection on the tank was 3/4 and we needed to hook into a kitchen tap connection. Rona employees tried their best to find a compatible connection could not. We returned it and went to another store and bought one with the size of connection we required.

Meets our Needs
We bought this to replace the same one we bought 12 years ago. It meets our needs perfectly. We were fortunate to have the same model available as we had to do very little changes to our installation at the house. The only reason we replaced it is the old one started to leak and could not be repaired. We got good service/years out of the original.
