You get what you pay for...and sometimes less
The barrel has a great capacity but the design is not ideal and has a bulky look to it. It's essentially a supersized bucket. Having to drill a hole to install the tap was an unpleasant surprise but you should make sure you have the right drill to avoid several attempts, adjustments and breakage. My item was delivered with one of the hooks on the lid being broken, which I only noticed once I had installed the tap and could no longer return the barrel. After filling it up half way I noticed a leak somewhere at the base but cannot quite figure out where. I may end up using this rain barrel for another purpose.

Should have just bought a garbage can.
This came with No access hole or filtering screen, that means mosquitoes, and roof getter waste. The Valve needs a whole cut for it. The valve is cheap plastic, and is not threaded so nope, not able to attach a hose. I ended up using a Jig saw to cut a hole in it and then I bought a stainless steel strainer and a brass threaded valve. It really is just a big garbage can with cheap plastic valve.

Baril d'eau de pluie de mauvaise qualité. Aucun trou sur le couvercle pour amasser l'eau de pluie. Faut même installer le robinet nous même... Matériaux de piètre qualité. 50$ mal investi

Saving me a lot of $$$.
I have purchased three of these and have set them up with smaller rain catchers around the garden. I have connected them all together with hoses and drip lines into the garden. It works great. The only thing I did not do was put in the tap. The one I did -leaked so instead I got a sump pump to move the water. I did not once have to use water from the house to do the garden.
