Nothing but LED Reveals in this new old house. Upgrading all! Got these to go wirh a new fixture I got on clearance for my kitchen. Remodeling in progress and wanted the lighting to be right before picking surfaces and colors which means Reveals were necessary. 5 photos of illumination from 20% to 100% intensity included. Notice how these bulbs direct a central beam but still provide diffuse illumination. Perfect for my application! Will couple with 2700K undercabinet ribbon lighting and LED Reveal task lighting over sink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mikey from Great bulbs, but... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced some 50W hot running halogens in a couple recessed fixtures above my sink. When I put one in I turned them on and noticed that they don't seem to be quite equal to 50W. Very close, but not quite as bright. Also, they're listed as 3K color temp but seem to be just a little bit cooler. No biggie because it's just over the sink but I like warmer lighting in my kitchen. They're dimmable, but like most dimmable LED lights, they never quite go as dim as incandescents. Again, not a biggie, but it's noticeable.

The only issue is I bought two 2 packs, exactly the same light and the colors are not the same. Two of them have a blue tint. Not a problem if they are not all together and on at the same time, but mine are... so these only get 4 stars...

Excellent color temp for the kitchen. Saves power and cuts down on heat compared to incandescent and halogen bulbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FireStarter from LED Equivalent to 50 watt GU10 base bulbs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using standard incandescent bulbs, they burn out fast due to their high heat properties. These last longer, therefore you don't have to change them as often. Plus the brightness that these bulbs give out is fantastic for old eyes like mine. Did I mentioned cost effectiveness? WONDERFUL! You will pay less using six of these LED's for an entire year than you will pay for using one incandescent for a month.

I have a vision emparment these these lights don’t seem to be as harsh as the halogen lights that came with my track lighting system.

They are dimmable but do not dim down as much as a halogen - not a big deal, it's an OK tradeoff for less electrical usage and bulbs that stay cool and won't burn your fingers. Used in a wall-mounted reading light above the bed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SamBob from GE Reveal 2-Pack 50W These bulbs are a LOT brighter than the ones that came in the range hood, so it makes it easier to cook on the stove top. Will reserve a rating with a higher number of stars until I see if it actually meets the advertised longevity. With just my wife and I living here, the LED bulb should last a looooong time. We'll see.
