Description
Drive away lingering food odours, smoke and fumes with this 30-in W GE under cabinet range hood. It comes with back-lit controls for a simple push-button operation. UL listed, it promotes a fire-safe and hazard-free kitchen. This 310 CFM range hood performs well against steam, smoke, airborne grease and other air pollutants. With 4-speed levels, it's easy to adjust the strength of the blower fan to meet your needs. A built-in incandescent light illuminates the cooktop as you prep your meals. This 30-in W under cabinet range hood measures 20-in H x 5 1/2-in D. It has a dishwasher-safe grease filter that's removable to allow for quick cleanups and easy maintenance. A white finish enhances a bright kitchen. This GE Appliances undermount range hood comes with a 1-year limited warranty on labour and parts.

Disappointed, not well made.
Lights didn’t work from the start, bad wiring from factory. Required a repair. Then the halogen bulbs burned out within a day after repair. Make sure you replace bulbs with LED’s!

Only one side extracts
The design is awful. There's only one side of which it actually sucks up any sort of smoke. The fan is off to the left side, meaning if you're cooking on the right side, zero smoke/steam is being sucked up. Brutal design

Faulty light socket
Original bulb cannot be extracted from light socket. Followed instructions to remove it but impossible to do so. Hood is only one and a half years old. No longer under one year warranty. Now need to hire an electrician.

Not as easy as changing a light bulb
I'm sorry I didn't see the other reviews on difficulty with changing the bulbs, before I bought this unit. Instructions look easy, but don't work. Had to hire a repairman to change a faulty light bulb (it works when it wants to). Very disappointed with this GE product. It doesn't have the quality of my older GE equipment.
