Could be better
Purchased this about two weeks ago read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I will be returning this weeder. It does take up the weeds but it does not release them like I expected. I spend more time trying to unload the weed than I do digging it up. For the price it could do better

Looks great removes weeds.
Recently purchased due to the reviews. It does do the job. Leaves a large ish hole where weed has been removed. And doesn’t release the weed immediately. Takes a couple of tries. But it does eliminate bending over to pull weeds. We will continue to use it and see how well it stands up

Efficace, mais sur un sol humide
L'engin arrache une bonne motte de terre, augmentant ainsi ses chances de partir avec la racine. Mais si le sol est sec et dense, il devient difficile d'éjecter la motte. J'ai "trafiqué" un brin l'engin en écartelant très légèrement ses crocs. Cela facile grandement l'éjection de la motte sans nuire à son efficacité.

Very well built
Simply amazing, digs in to the soil with ease, small 1/4 turn of the handle and your weed comes out with the root, the plunger is made of metal and slides easily to dislodge the root when pushing with your foot.
I had Fiskars before and the plastic plunger broke after 30-50 weeds.... With this one I'm already way past 100 and it still looks like new.
My soil is not very hard so I never had issues with broken blades, not with Fiskars and not with Garant.
I probably wouldn't try in hard dry soil, better to wait for the rain and to use it after.
Over all I'm really happy with this Garant weeder.

Best weeder ever!
So robust and so easy to use! All negative reviews are about difficulty to take or the weed from the tool. Don’t use the plastic tool, just push down the metal rod with your foot after taking the tool out of the ground and the weed will fall off immediately.

Bonne prise, facile pour extraire les mauvaises herbes mais le hic est que ceux -ci restent bloqués dans l’extracteur et sont très difficiles à retirer!

Amazing, the best weeder i have ever had
I just bought t it and worked in my yard for 5 hours straight. It works amazingly. it is all metal contrary to other brands so it would not break easily.
