Great for basements
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 yo Frigidaire dehumidifier finally bit the dust so I purchased this to replace it. Both have been fantastic to keep musty smells and moisture out of my basement. Easy to remove the bucket and dump, easy to set up and easy to access the filter. Highly recommend.

Works great
I only had it running for a couple of weeks and it seems very sturdy and reliable so far. I need to empty a bucket per day, sometimes even more often. The floor drain is too far (and in a different room) to use a hose. I like that the vent is on the side and not on the top so I can orient it to blow in any direction I want and I can also place some small items (such as a phone) on top. The wheels make it fairly easy to push it around. It doesn’t have a smart feature to let me know when the bucket is full but it does beep a few times and stops running, then restarts automatically after I emptied the bucket. That’s free water for my garden! I keep the fan on low setting but I still find it too loud to sleep with it on in the room. I don’t know if there are any brands that whispering quiet, I had a Danby before and it was as noisy.

It has pulled tons of water out of my half-basement apartment and yet kept it cool and comfortable. And, I empty the water into a bird bath outdoors, so it's a win for all. So happy I purchased this product. Thank you for another fine Frigidaire product!
